When is a good time to open my pool for the season?

In general, openings can be done as soon as any snow or ice is gone from your pool. You may bring the pool water level back up to the proper height and start running your equipment. Keep in mind that if the evening temperatures drop below 32 degrees, you will want to run your filter system to prevent your equipment from freezing. An early spring start-up of your pool will help combat any chances of algae growth, making it an easier spring clean-up. Once the water has been filtering for a minimum of 48 hours, bring in a water sample (2 cups) for a complete water analysis to start out the swimming season right!

Can I bury an above ground pool in the ground?

No & this is why!! The picture to the right is what will likely happen to your Above Ground Pool if you bury it. Burying an above ground swimming pool will void your warranty with most manufacturers, including OutBack & Strong. One of the potential dangers of burying a pool in the ground is the ground pressure pushing the side walls in and they collapse. How much does an above ground pool cost?
